Yes, I am a fat chick. My current weight is...GASP...229.5. I don't tell that to many people. In fact, this is the first time I've told anyone in a long time. I'd like to say that this is the highest weight I'll ever be in this new year of 2015. I've gained, lost, gained, lost, lost, gained and lost more pounds than I can keep track of. I've been an exercise fiend, a gym rat, and a couch potato. I own exercise videos by Jane Fonda, Richard Simmons and Bob Harper. I love cheesy, salty food and I can't stand eating apples. I have a love/hate relationship with my body and with food. Every year January comes around and I say, "This year I'm going to get healthy!"
Yes, I have a Fitbit. I've worn it for two days now and I love it. I didn't start out with my step count at 10,000. That would have been too depressing. So I set it at 5,000, and I hit it today. My wrist had a little party when the Fitbit did it's imitation of a disco ball. And that made me smile. And made me want to do it again tomorrow. So I will up my step count to 5100....
And try not to eat two McDonald's cheeseburgers with fries for dinner like I did tonight.
Because you know what I'm going to do this year?
This year I'm going to get healthy!
